Twelve Baskets Catering began in 1976 on Old Main Street in downtown Bellevue, Washington, founded by John Bagge and Pete Talbott. What started as a 36 seat neighborhood eatery was built on a simple idea: serve the community with exceptional food and genuine hospitality. From the moment of our founding, quality and care have never been optional for us.
Over the past five decades, we have served more than four million meals across the Puget Sound region. Along the way, we have grown from a small local restaurant into one of Washington’s most respected catering and hospitality companies. Our foundation remains the same, but our capabilities have expanded to meet the evolving needs, tastes, and expectations of modern hosts and guests.
Today, Twelve Baskets Catering is proudly owned by Jim Brinton and Brinton Business Ventures, ushering in a new chapter of strategic growth. Under Jim’s stewardship, we continue to operate with the same commitment to quality, hospitality, and community that has defined us since 1976.
While ownership has evolved, our mission remains unchanged: deliver exceptional food, thoughtful service, and memorable experiences worthy of the occasions we are trusted to serve.
As we continue to grow, our commitment remains clear: honor our legacy throughout the Greater Seattle Region while continually refining what exceptional catering looks like today.
